1. Who these terms are with
These terms are between Apps 365 Ltd (company number 13955007, 20-22 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU, United Kingdom, "we") and the organisation that uses OnboardPoint ("you"). Apps 365 Ltd is a UK company and is not affiliated with apps365.com.
2. The service
OnboardPoint is a SharePoint Framework app that keeps onboarding, internal move and offboarding records in lists on your own SharePoint site, and runs in SharePoint and Microsoft Teams. The optional pre-start portal on onboardpoint.com writes to lists on a portal site in your tenant. Features described as coming soon or planned are not part of the service until they are released.
3. Licences, evaluations and prices
Plans are annual licences sold in pounds sterling, excluding VAT, through our shop at apps365ltd.com. Each new OnboardPoint site can be used with every feature for 14 days from its set-up without a licence key. Without a key after that, records and evidence stay readable and leavers' access closure tasks can still be completed, and new journeys pause. A trial key lasts 14 days, with at most three per organisation in any 90 days. Prices are published on onboardpoint.com; the price you pay is fixed for the licence year.
4. Your responsibilities
- Decide what your onboarding process collects, and tell your starters who you are and how you use their information.
- Keep your Microsoft 365 tenant, site permissions and any grants under your control, and remove the portal service's grants when you stop using the portal.
- Carry out right to work, DBS and other checks yourself or with a certified provider: OnboardPoint records and organises them, and does not perform them.
- Use OnboardPoint lawfully, and send private links only to the person they are for.
5. Our responsibilities
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care, keep the pre-start portal running as well as we reasonably can, and process starters' personal data in transit only on your instructions. We may stop the portal for your tenant to prevent abuse or at your request, and will tell you.
6. Your data
Your onboarding records stay in your tenant and belong to you. We do not claim any rights in them.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our total liability in any licence year is limited to the fees you paid for that year, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, data or goodwill. OnboardPoint helps you organise and record onboarding; it does not make you meet any law, standard or certification. Acknowledgements recorded in OnboardPoint are not a substitute for a contract signed through a certified e-signature provider.
8. Ending
You can stop using OnboardPoint at any time; licences are not refunded part way through a year unless the law requires it. When you stop, your lists stay in your tenant.
9. General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions: info@apps365ltd.com.
