Whether your onboarding runs on another SharePoint app, a retired add-in, a home-built list with flows or a spreadsheet checklist, you can move to OnboardPoint one journey at a time.

Rebuild your current checklist as an OnboardPoint template: phases from offer accepted to probation, owners by role, and dates counted from the start date in calendar or business days.
If you use Employee Onboarding 365 or another onboarding app on SharePoint, you can keep its records where they are while new journeys start in OnboardPoint, with every feature in every plan and no extra permissions to start.
SharePoint Add-ins stopped working in SharePoint Online on 2 April 2026. If your onboarding was built on one, OnboardPoint runs as a SharePoint Framework web part and in Microsoft Teams instead.
A SharePoint list, a few flows and a shared mailbox is where many teams start. OnboardPoint keeps the lists in your tenant and adds dated tasks for every owner, gates, evidence and a starter home, without flows to maintain.
